Winter travel tends to be bulky. Sweaters, long sleeves, jackets, scarfs, long pants. All the winter clothing makes you feel you need to travel with a big suitcase. This winter break, I’m challenging myself to travel with just one small backpack, a 30 liter Osprey Porter. I researched exptendively, tried on a few, and ultimately settled on this front-opening hybrid duffel-backpack. The prime reason for going for a small sac is bec Kiwi.com (Do not use this site!!!) booked economy light flights, which only allow 43x25x21cm (essentially a laptop bag). Osprey 30 doesn’t comply with this, but I’m going to see if I can get by and sneak in without getting too much attention at the gate.
